Alaric 'n Me

 'It's a long and winding road that leads us back to...home' 

It was May 2008 when I returned to Houston (my hometown) from an assignment in Singapore only to realize that I had no real sense of local community since I'd been traveling with work for so many years. 

It was October of 2008 when I stumbled upon the Cypress Trails website in search of 'riding lessons'.   I got that and so much more.

I'm now a member of the Equestrian Community thanks in no short order to the friendship and mentoring of Darolyn Butler of Cypress Trails Stables in Humble, TX

It is Darolyn who introduced me to this amazing community of humans and equus...and it is Darolyn who introduced me to my first horse, Alaric. 

Beginning in September (7IL Ranch-Cat Springs, TX) you'll see 'Alaric 'n Me' at Endurance Events across Texas and beyond, so don't forget to visit with us a bit, we'd love to meet you and your horse(s)!
